I love spring rolls. No visit to the Chinese restaurant of my confidence, without me a few of the delicious things happily in the mouth. There is only one problem: they are too stressful for me at home.
This is firstly because I have no steam to fry at home and then to have three days the smell in my apartment. As a result, the rolls get their golden, perfectly greasy crust. And even if I had a fryer and could put this on the non-existent balcony, I would still have to come to the dough plates.
But do you know what’s in every supermarket? All the ingredients for the wonderfully spicy, crispy-crunchy spring roll filling! Also known as cabbage (dirt cheap, low in calories and super healthy), carrots (always good) and organic hack. Roast these babies and add a delicious sauce of soy sauce, ginger and knobi and you catapult yourself straight into the low carb soulfoal heaven!
I see you’re up for 30-minute Asiafood friends. Then let’s get started!
As is the case with spring rolls, everything starts with a load of spicy minced meat at the Spring Roll Bowl. The meat is fried with chopped onion until it is wonderfully crispy. Then thin cabbage and carrot strips are added and for the Asian taste, the sauce made from soy sauce, grated ginger and minced garlic.
But do you know what makes it all perfect? A big dollop of sweet chili sauce or sweet and sour sauce!
I swear to you that the Spring Roll Bowl tastes so true to the original, that’s crazy! Spicy and crunchy and fresh, and this perfect little sweet, for which we love the sweet and sour sauce.
If you need even more convincing arguments: For the favorite Asian recipe you only need a pan , 10 ingredients and 30 minutes time.
