There are recipes that are ok. There are recipes, I think that’s cool. And then there are recipes, I think ultra super mega hyper super duper horny and would like to cook immediately everyone a large portion of it. Roasted Asian noodles definitely belong in category 3.
Sometimes without flax, how could this delicacy go so far for so long? Fresh fried noodles that taste infinitely better than the loveless boxes from the Asia Takeaway. Hearty, spicy and packed with crunchy carrot sticks, spring onions and a bombastic garlic-aromatic sauce. Oh, and they’re done in 20 minutes. ♡
Friends, our closing time has just become 1000 times easier!
If you’ve eaten homemade fried Asian noodles, you’ll never be tempted to spoon out fried noodles from a plastic old box with too much sweet and sour sauce as you can not say no fast enough. No more lost noodles you’ll find on your sweater two hours after dinner, and no greasy spots of carrot on the brand-new pants.
No, with this recipe we have our lives under control. Instead of going to the Asia Takeaway, we get a handful of ingredients and cook our own, damn delicious, fresh fried noodles without any weird ingredients.
Roasted Asian Noodles – Here’s how
To rock your roast noodle game, you first cook the noodles in plenty of salt water for a few minutes. In the meantime, cut a large carrot into thin strips, a handful of spring onions in small rolls and chop a garlic clove. Fry the whole in a large pan in a little sunflower oil. Then there are noodles, Hoisin paste and soy sauce and everything is deliciously crunching. Finally a few spring onion rolls and some sesame on top, done.
You want more? Then pimp your fried noodles according to your taste and your fridge contents.
Pimp your fried noodles
- Protein. Chicken, shrimp and fried tofu are certainly world class.
- More vegetables. Spinach, mushrooms, peppers, zucchini – just clean what you have in the fridge. You only have to pay a little attention to the cooking time of the individual ingredients. Harder is already in the beginning in the pan, spinach only at the very end.
- Delicious Asian sauces. Since the selection is almost endless. Mirin, fish sauce, chilli sauce, sweet chilli sauce, teriyaki sauce – everything works.
Whatever you do, try these noodles!
