I had one of these evenings recently: I felt like a big portion of Soulfood. And with Soulfood I mean pasta with a wonderful creamy sauce of the brand “Oha, how good is that?” Only problem. I had a long day of shooting, including appointments behind me and could have scratched on the spot. Now standing in the kitchen for a long time? Definitely not.
My Rescue: Pasta with Shrimp and Tomato Cream Sauce . We’re talking about spaghetti in a decadently creamy, tomato sauce. Gorgeous garlic, chilli and with a good shot of white wine. But the best of all are the juicy, briefly fried prawns, which have become wonderfully spicy in the sauce.
Friends, these noodles taste like your favorite Italian, only more practical, cheaper and in 20 minutes on the table!
Ok, let’s just talk about the pasta with scampi and deliciously creamy, tomato sauce with garlic and chilli.
First of all: For this recipe you only need 9 ingredients and 20 minutes time!
Basically, the court consists of only two components.
- Pasta. Take whatever you want. I think spaghetti and tagliatelle are particularly good, because they can be so wonderfully coated by the velvety sauce.
- Most delicious shrimp cream sauce. You need shrimp, garlic, chilli, cream, tomato paste and some spring onions. Especially great about the sauce: It does not have to sink in front of you long, but is ready in a few minutes. Perfect for our after-work hunger!
After not even 20 minutes you mix the steaming spaghetti with the sauce and have your Soulfood Deluxe dinner.

Juicy shrimp – how it works

That’s why we fry them in a pan just from one side, before they can be juicy and cooked with cream, white wine, garlic and the remaining ingredients for a few minutes. - Salt and pepper
Pasta cook in plenty of salted al dente water.
In the meantime peel garlic and chop. Wash chili and spring onions. Chop the chili, cut the spring onions into small rolls. Dab scampi dry with kitchen paper.
Heat olive oil in a pan and fry scampi for a minute. Turn and add garlic, chili, white wine, cream, tomato paste and spring onions. Bring to a boil for two minutes. Season well with salt and pepper.
Add noodles and mix everything. Season again with salt and pepper. Serve.
