Have you ever been to one of these magnificent oil and vinegar stores? I could always buy stupid and stupid. A bit of garlic olive oil here, a little pomegranate vinegar there. And oha! They really have hazelnut vinegar here. Unbelievable! Of course I can not let that stand.
Unfortunately, the bad awakening comes only at the cash register at the latest. Do you know this moment in which the seller calls a prize and in your head all alarm bells are running at full speed?
WHAT? 25 euros for 300 ml of olive oil and 200 ml of vinegar? Holy Guacamole, what have you been up to?
Only a few weeks ago, I had such a horror moment.
In my defense I have to say: I also got 4 very pretty, very small glass bottles for that. I hope you’ll take that as an excuse.
Anyway, I decided afterwards that it definitely can not go on. And I was looking for a new source for my beloved Lemon Olive Oil. And my dears, I’ll tell you, I’ve found !
Had I known earlier how easy it is to make GENIAL good lemon oil. All you need are high quality olive oil and a few organic lemons. Yes, that’s it.
And this taste … Mhhhm!
The lemon-olive oil of two ingredients is:
- Super lemony.
- A true all-rounder: Pasta , Salad , for dipping – everything works!
- Prepared in a few minutes.
Best of all, making your own lemon olive oil is super easy!
- Wash lemons and dab dry well.
- Peel lemons carefully with a peeler.
- Fill oil into large glasses. I like to take the pretty Mason Jars *. Looks great and the bowls are easy to fish out later.
- Allow oil to drain for two weeks.
- Transfer the finished lemon-olive oil into a bottle *.
You must try this basic recipe for fruity lemon-olive oil from two ingredients. Made in no time, incredibly delicious and much cheaper than the oil shop.

Portions : 500 ml
good olive oil
Lemons Wash well and wipe dry.
Peel the peel of lemons very finely with a peeler. Be sure to have as little whiteness as possible on the skin as this makes the olive oil bitter. I also like to take a knife and remove the white a little later.
Fill oil into lockable jars. Divide the lemon peel on the glasses. Leave for two weeks in a cool and dark place.
Remove the lemon peels and add oil to a Viva Houseware – 2 glass bottles 500ml with self-filling handle with a white funnel diameter 9,5 cm
* to fill.
Use up within four weeks.
Of course, you can also use a smaller amount of oil if you are not sure if you have the oil consumed within a month. In our experience, it is faster and faster.
