Fried green asparagus with garlic

My dear, the last days I am so diligently shuttling back and forth between the park and the balcony that I did not come to the PC at all. One may forgive me, but good weather in the far north you just have to use!

For this I have brought a fix asparagus recipe today, which is wonderful as a light dinner. I tell you, Fried Green Asparagus with Garlic is not only a treat for Knobi fans!

When dipped asparagus spears take a bath in olive oil and then sprinkle with plenty of garlic, a real treat is guaranteed. And does not the asparagus look pretty? Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside – perfect!
Here we had asparagus after this recipe tomato scrambled eggs with spring onions. Fast, easy and just right after a long sunny day. Only before a date or job interview should you treat the asparagus at most in a defused form …;)

If you want to fry the asparagus as a whole, you use best thin asparagus spears. These cook much faster and are nice and tender. To be on the safe side, you can cut the asparagus into rough pieces. For frying is a large flat pan, in which all asparagus spears have space.

      Bars of green asparagus
  •   1 1/2
      olive oil
  •   2
      Garlic Cloves
  •   salt and pepper
  •   Parmesan to taste


  1. The Peel the lower third of the asparagus and cut off the woody ends. Finely chop the garlic

  2. Cut the asparagus into chunks

  3. Heat the olive oil in a large, coated pan and stir-fry the asparagus for about 6 minutes over medium heat fry

  4. Add garlic and fry for another 5 minutes until the asparagus is tenderly browned and cooked

  5. Season with salt and pepper. Parmesan Pitcher Over It
