While others are hacking out some great posts every day, I’m already hapling my morning cuddle. The Fig Gorgonzola Baguette with Avocado is the perfect lunch break companion. Spicy gorgonzola and sweet figs topped with avocado cream, almost too good to be true!
Time is running! Can you imagine that really is fig time again? The noble fruits inspire us every year with their beautiful appearance and sweet taste. No wonder that the treats were already considered in antiquity as a staple food and are still used regularly today.

Made sure you will love the combination of creamy Gorgonzola and very slightly crispy fig kernels with security. Add a little avocado cream and the delicious baguette is ready.
Fig Gorgonzola baguettes with avocado

large baguette rolls
- Olive oil
- Juice of half a lime
- salt and pepper
Baguette rolls halve lengthwise and sprinkle with a few drops of olive oil
Halve the avocado, remove the kernel and crush the avocado in a small bowl with a fork. Drizzle the lime juice over it and mix well so that the avocado cream does not turn brown
Cut the figs into thin slices
Brush the baguette halves with avocado cream and covered with figs. Pluck Gorgonzola into small pieces and spread on the figs
Sprinkle with parsley leaves, salt, pepper and enjoy
